In Charge of the Money

The Government buildings in Whitehall are quire remarkable in themselves, but few take the time to look at them closely. Let me fix that for you. This is the Treasury building, they've been swiping our money for over a thousand years, you can read a potted history here.

What a beautiful building! I love the way you captured it too, the double-deckers, and a shadow at the bottom left.

It is probably because of the massive police presence in the area that no one wants to stay too long at the same spot.

The Government actually has many more buildings in London than I first thought. The Millbank tower is another one of them. Although the building isn't as nice as the one photographed, it gives fantastic views across West London.

151 Buckingham Palace Road is now occupied by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency). This building is way more futuristic. I could go on forever. Looking forward to seeing more photographs.

"Our money?" I thought it all (technically) belongs to the Crown. It does have her picture on it, after all.

The buses really add to the scale of the building.

I wonder; if asked for ID does Lizzie just whip out a fiver and say, "That good enough for you, Sonny?!
