Improving The Image of Construction

The June City Daily Photo theme is construction. To my mind, the best way to improve the image of construction is for the builders to finish and go away. This scene is from two years ago when they had just started building the Olympic Stadium, go back a few days to see what it look like now.

I always found the construction work in London to be very considerate. That may be because of rules imposed to be able to work in Central London, but I was rarely inconvenienced.

This photo reminds me of a joke from back in the mid/late 90's: What's the national bird of Germany? The Crane!!

I went back to your post of a few days ago, the stadium does look very finished from here. I hope you get tickets to the games.

We can only imagine a skyline without cranes. Certainly never been crane free while i have lived here.
