Say Cheese!

After watch the birdie, what else could I do? The Neals Yard Dairy is a great place for cheese - this is the Neals Yard shop, not in the original location but nearby. You can even do mail order from their site, how cool is that?

Daikry products, esp. cheese, are my favorites. You photo shows many varieties. Would be hard to make a choice of only one or two!!

Do they have good Camembert and Roquefort? I hope so!

Hi Ham,

I used to shop in that very shop on special occasions.

The cheese range was spectacular and the staff were snooty yet great.

Loved it.

Plus being the cheeky little Bluey, I also love the Rough Trade shop round the corner for it's array of great music and skate kid clothes (which are may be unapproriate for a Bluey of my age...!)

Hanks for the memories!

Cheers,

Bluey

PS That Tornado happened on a road that one of my mates used to stay in, weird, I know it very well...

I love buying cheese from Neal's Yard - more usually the shop at Borough. The staff are very friendly and keen to help you choose.

Alice - they only really sell English cheeses with some exceptions including Parmesan and mozzarella.

Yes it's pretty cool. Unless it's summer of course and your mail order arrives seeping, glutinously out of the package (i've had two split packages arrive this week, admittedly not cheese) as you brie-the in its delicious odours. I assume packaging would be strong.

You should try cheeses from the British Isles, which is what Neal's Yard specializes in, Alice. You will be very pleasantly surprised.

Btw, there is another Neal's Yard shop just by Borough Market and it is open every day. But it is smaller.
